Trucking

Receive your Commercial’s Drivers License (CDL) training from a top trucking technical school today. Truck drivers can have the opportunity to see America as an over-the-road trucker or can drive trucks in their local community.

The requirements for a trucking career differ slightly from state to state, but the general requirements are very similar. All states require an individual to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). There are two types of CDL’s, a Class A CDL and a Class B CDL. If you have a Class A CDL, you can perform any kind of driving job, including over-the-road 18-wheeler jobs. With a Class B CDL, you can do smaller truck driving jobs, such as driving a snow plow. Some jobs will require you to have specific endorsements. To obtain a CDL, you would usually need to attend an 8 week program and then take the permit test. Drive training would follow.
